Biography

Emily has more than 15 years of experience in medical association management with expertise spanning board governance, administration, operations, finance, and accounting. Throughout her career, she has served as an Executive Director for a medical specialty board, led operations for association management companies, and provided bookkeeping and financial management services to multiple organizations.  

Emily is passionate about improving processes, strengthening financial operations, and using technology and best practices to help organizations operate more efficiently. She enjoys continuously expanding her expertise in accounting systems and financial management to better support the clients she serves. 

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and her MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Chicago. Before transitioning into medical association management, Emily spent more than 10 years with a premier cooking school in Chicago, where she managed retail operations and planned events. 

Emily lives in Cedar Lake, Indiana, with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys stand-up paddleboarding, boating, cooking, traveling, biking, and spending time outdoors.
