Biography

As a copy editor and graphic designer, Cheryl has been working in the publishing industry for more than 25 years. She started her career as a copy writer for a Chicago-based marketing firm and worked in the advertising/marketing departments of several corporations and non-profits. She enjoys editing a variety of educational test prep guides for New York–based Kaplan and Manhattan Publishing. She also works as the managing editor for a medical society’s official publication, and as project coordinator for a variety of publishing and other projects. In her spare time, Cheryl also runs a small promotional items company, where she enjoys creatively finding the perfect product for her customers. Cheryl received her Bachelor’s Degree with a major in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
